Yes, I know. My blog full of spider webs. Haven't update it for the longest time. Since the last time I updated my blog (which was in 2009), a lot of things have happened:
1. I have changed my job
And yes, to a much, much and much better one now. I am also much, much and much happier now. No more late nights and long hours. No more screaming children whose sleeps were interrupted since they have to pick me up late in the nights from office. No more feeling torn apart between work and family. For the first time in my career life, I actually have work-life balance!
Hubby and kids are happier too. I am at home more. I guess, my home is much happier as well; I managed to clean up the house and doing laundry on daily basis. On rotating cleaning schedule obviously, since I am a part time organized freak!
2. On Culinary Skill
Hmmm... I guess I have improved a lot in this area too. I have added more recipes under my belt; Bread & Butter pudding, Japanese Soufflé Cake, Fruit Tart & Mackerel and Mayonnaise Tart, Ayam Percik, Brownies. All these made possible by my Teka's oven.
3. On Sewing Skills
I now know how to make pillow cases, flat sheets, curtains, baju kurung, tudung and a few other things. And no, I haven't go to any sewing classes. I mainly copy from the old clothes to make new ones. Apart from that, I relied mostly on a sewing book and You-tube.
Well, I guess that's wrapped up almost 2 years of my MIA. I will try to add in more post later. I have plenty of photos to share too ;). Until then, sayonara.
